The Government of Assam has launched a great opportunity for unemployed youths belonging to linguistic minority communities through the E Rickshaw Yojana Assam 2025. Under this scheme, the Linguistic Minority Development Board, Assam will distribute free e-rickshaws and mopeds to eligible beneficiaries to support self-employment and income generation.
E Rickshaw Yojana Assam 2025 online application will be open from 1st December, 2025 to 30th December, 2025 .
Objective of E Rickshaw Yojana Assam 2025
The main aim of the scheme is to:
- Support unemployed youths from linguistic minority families
- Provide e-rickshaws and mopeds to help them earn independently
- Promote self-employment instead of dependency on government jobs or financial aid
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet these requirements:
- Permanent resident of Assam
- Age between 25–50 years
- Must belong to a linguistic minority community
- Not a beneficiary of any similar government scheme
- Applicants belonging to religious minorities or ST communities cannot apply
How to Apply Online for E Rickshaw Yojana Assam 2025
The application process is fully online. Candidates do not need to visit any government office to submit the form. Here is the simple guide to apply:
1: Visit the Portal :
- First, go to the official website of the Assam Linguistic Minorities Development Board: www.linguisticminority.in
- On the homepage, look for the “E-Rickshaw Scheme 2025” link.
2: Registration :
- Click on the “New Registration” button.
- Enter your Full Name and a valid Mobile Number.
- Create a password and complete the sign-up process.
3: Login & Fill Details :
- Now, click on “Login” and enter your registered mobile number and password.
- Once the dashboard opens, fill in your personal details like Address, Age, and Family Income carefully.
- Ensure that your name matches exactly with your Aadhaar or Voter ID .
4: Upload Required Documents
- You need to upload a scanned copy of your Passport Size Photo and Signature.
- Upload other necessary documents like Identity Proof (Voter ID/Aadhar) and Bank Passbook front page.
- Note: Income Certificate is not required at this stage.
5: Final Submission :
- Check all the details once again to avoid mistakes.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- After submission, an Acknowledgement Receipt will be generated. Download and Print this receipt for future reference.

- Age proof
- Income certificate

After the application deadline, documents will be verified.
